Retinal detachment pls help 17 years old?

hello all well ill just be straight with it i have alot of floaters and at night times when i try to sleep ill be staring at my ceiling seeing thousands of little circle everywhere but sometimes i see flashes of light and darkness and would lose my vision but i have never followed through with seeing it to the end so i would close my eyes and it goes away does anyone know if it is retinal detachment i have nearsightness and i wear contacts and had inflammation in both eyes before without treatment i see these floaters everywhere espically in the sky or plain walls like white thanks ive been having this for about hafe a year pls help i went to the doctor too but she says its nothing but i fear for my vision oh yea am 17 and i used to never see this before it is very annoying / frustrating
