I have a big problem, please help..?

well, i'm a 15 year old boy who is a basketball player, i live in canada and I wanna proceed my career and try to get to the NBA level.. after i finish my 11th grade (get my diploma) i wanna go to the united states to play AAU basketball over there to hopefully get drafted by a ncaa division 1 school. i will only be 17 and i do not have any relatives that live there. i will get the most money i can before i go for an appartment.. i will have a room mate that is gonna do the same thing so we can pay half half.. the problem is how am i gonna get an appartment rent i heard we cant if were 17..:( where can i go then, i really need to live there.. its my future. also, i need to know if i can rent a car for 1 year or so if im 17 because i really need a car too.. my parents aren't coming with me so i dont have an adult.. the only ppl is me and my friend that is same my age.. try to help me get some information thank you very much..
