How to get rid of peeling skin on my face?

i am like in love with this guy. (btw he is also one one of my goooood friends) We he was being thoughtless and pointed out that my face was white. then he said why is your skin peeling? I NEED to get rid of it. I put proactive green tea moisturizer on it but it not working. Any homemade suggestions to get rid of it???
