Why should I have to buy the headset for Tom Clancy's End War?

The whole point of End War is to be able to use your voice in the game to command your own troops. Now you actually don't need the headset to play End War at all you can just use your controller but it is much easier to use the headset. Headsets are cheap just pay up.
