Castle In Germany Tourist locations?

Do you know, in what area of Germany your Dad might have been? It is true that there are Castles practically anywhere in Germany. I don't know about the hallways and doors, but I know that King Ludwig was said to be mad and that he build the castle called Neuschwanstein.
