Can a church be sued for refusing gay men or blacks into their priesthood ?

They cannot. They are a private entity and operate as a religious organization on strictly donated, private funds. Therefore, they can make their requirements or not allow whoever they decide. They will likely not take this stance outright because of the bad publicity they would get, but it is at work behind the scenes.
